Systrarna Louise (Ekelund) och Jacqueline Mareuil (Stenberg) äger en parfymfabrik på franska Rivieran.
Louise krockar med en motorcyklist. Motorcykeln blir skrot men föraren Claude Dubois (Rydeberg) klarar sig utan skador. Louise har bråttom och ger honom en in-blanco check. Claude som är konstnär ser i henne en potentiell modell. Eter att ha misslyckats att få tag på Louise fyller han i checken och lyter 2 miljoner francs. Han tar ett paket med alla sedlarna till fabriken och nu vill Louise gärna träfa honom. Hon erbjuder honom anställning som reklamtecknare. I stället för att rita reklambilder för annonser gör han porträttskisser av Louise. Hon får nog och avskedar honom. I ett försök att rädda Louise och Claudes relation smider Jacqueline en plan som kan få riskabla konsekvenser...
Sisters Louise (Ekelund) and Jacqueline Mareuil (Stenberg) own
a perfume factory on the French Riviera. Louise collides with a motorcyclist. he bike is a write-of but the driver Claude Dubois (Rydeberg) escapes unscathed. Louise is in a rush and gives him a signed blank cheque. Claude who is an artist sees in Louise a pro- spective model. Having failed to get hold of her he withdraws 2 million Francs using the cheque. He takes a parcel with all the bank notes to the factory and now she is willing to see him. She ofers him a job as an advertising designer, but instead of drawing pictures for advertisements he makes sketches of Louise. She has had enough and ires him. In an attempt to put things right between Louise and Claude, Jacqueline puts together a plan with potentially risky con- sequences..
