Premiere for the film ”Flickan från tredje raden” an anti Berg- man-film made by Hasse after appearing as an actor in the Ingmar Bergman film ”Fängelse”.
The message of ”Flickan på tredje raden” is that life isn’t the ago- nizing nightmare that Bergman claims it to be.
1950
Hasse’s own favourite film (made by him) and also his most crit- ically acclaimed ”Flicka och hyacinter” is released.

Hasse marries his teenage sweetheart Tutta Rolf.
1955
Hasse’s second biography ”Den vackra ankungen” is published.
1956
Hasse’s only novel ”Kurre Korint och drömfabriken” is published.
1958
The film ”Jazzgossen” is released. Hasse tries to recreate the Stock- holm entertainment scene during the 1920’s and 1930’s. Sigge Fürst appears as Ernst Rolf and Karl Gerhard plays himself.
1960
Hasse plays his last part in a film with the title ”På en bänk i en park”.
1964
Hasse directs and writes the script to his last film ”Äktenskaps- brottaren”.
Hasse and Tutta move to Spain.
1974
Hasse marries Viveka Trädgårdh in the home of his mother Greta.
